We have now just returned from Santa Barbara, CA, after celebrating the full and happy life of Jeff's "Tata." Such a sweet and caring man, Eddie Marquez, met his Lord on January 25, 2010. The funeral was precious and our time with family was very loving and enduring. God used this fairwell time to bring us all together as a family, not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally as well. With the sun shining brightly, and our hearts full of love and adoration, we put Tata to rest. We can only imagine his grand meeting of Jesus face-to-face! Though we feel empty with Tata no longer here, we sing praises for his entrance into Heaven. May you bask His divine love and glory, from here to eternity, Tata......we love you. You taught your boys well, who taught their boys well, and now, Jeffrey is loving me with the same adoring, selfless love that you showered on Nana for 68 years. Thank you for being their teacher, Tata. And now, may the Lord's love fill you to overflowing.....
