3.3.12….Debb & Kaleab flew HOME to join Dad FOREVER!!! (but we had to leave S in Ethiopia….another heart-wrenching moment)

12.30.11 to 3.2.12….Mom & Kaleab stayed in Ethiopia, visiting Sami daily, awaiting Kaleab’s Embassy Clearance and hoping for Sami’s case to pass court (we had hopes that we could stay until Sami cleared Embassy and I would bring both boys home together!)

12.31.11….Took Kaleab home (TH) with us FOREVER!!!!

12.30.11…Held Kaleab in our arms again!

11.24.11...PASSED COURT FOR KALEAB!!!! (THANKSGIVING DAY!)

10.16.11... ACCEPTED referral for "Big Brother!"

10.12.11...Courts Re-opened

8.6.11...Got caught in Court Closures

7.21.11...Court Date in Ethiopia!

5.19.11...Received referral for sweet Baby "K!"

7.30.10...DTE!! (Dossier to ET)

7.20.10...We mailed our DOSSIER to AWAA!

7.19.10...Our I-171H form ARRIVED today!!!!!

7.14.10...USCIS officer called to tell us she APPROVED our case! Once her supervisor approves it, they will send us our I-171H form!

7.8.10...USCIS CALLED US to follow-up on Colorado letter. God orchestrated details and we got the letter AND overnighted it to USCIS this day!

6.25.10...USCIS requested one of our Colorado forms to be in an updated format before they can send us our I171H form.

6.2.10...Jeff went in (early) to get fingerprinted

6.1.10...Debb went in (few weeks early) to get fingerprinted

5.26.10...Received letter from USCIS with biometrics appts (THREE WEEKS OUT!)

5.14.10...Sent off our I-600A with homestudy to USCIS

4.27.10...AWAA approved our homestudy!

4.9.10...LAST Home Study meeting! We passed!

4.8.10...Ethiopia re-installed the new two-trip rule.

4.2.10...Completed books #3 and #4. Set up last meeting.

3.25.10...Third Home Study Meeting

3.21.10...Jeff completed second book; scheduled HS meeting.

3.19 & 3.20.10...Completed ANB Family Training!

3.12.10...Second Home Study meeting (assigned another book to read)

3.11.10...Debb completed second book and book reports.

3.10.10...Our local fingerprints/criminal history background check cleared.

3.9.10...We both completed our first book reading! (Still working on second book).

3.5.10...Medical Exams Complete. Jeff finished 8hr Online Hague Training!

3.2.10...Debb finished 8hr Online Hague Training!

2.25.10...Handed in home study paperwork! (now for reading those books and doing the Hague online class...and 3 more meetings for home study)!

2.12.10...Assigned our AWAA Family Coordinator.

2.12.10...Our first home study meeting with ANB.

2.11.10...Received confirmation from AWAA that they accepted our application! YIPPEE! HERE WE GO! :o)

2.5.10...Dropped off money to initiate home study! Yipee!

1.27.10....Dropped off application to local adoption agency,
