HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

VALENTINE'S DAY.  A day to celebrate LOVE.  Not that we shouldn't celebrate love EVERY SINGLE day of our lives, but this day is set aside to do so in a special, out of the ordinary way.  Doesn't have to be big.  Some of the smallest expressions can mean the most..................


We received a very VERY SPECIAL expression of love today, from our near and dear friend, Maril.

Your Approaching One

Maril, your heart is bigger than the ocean.  Your understanding, wider than any sea.  Your love for us and our soon-to-be little one(s), is one of our most special gifts.  THANK YOU for "bringing" our babe(s) a bit closer to us today.  This card was thoughtful.  Special.  Priceless.  We thank you!


I can't help but think of how much LOVE I carry in my heart ~ for Jeff, for God, for my family, my friends, as well as the love just waiting to be poured into you, our precious one(s).  I'm smiling right now, thinking of the fun we will have creating Valentine's Day traditions.  Together.

In some respects my heart feels a bit empty this Valentine's Day.  Knowing that our child or children are halfway across the world, waiting for us to come to them.  But mostly, my heart feels FULL.  Of a love I can pour into Jeff, friends and family now; and a love that is waiting for that special time in life that it can be showered over you, our dear sweet babe(s).

We are working hard to bring you home.  Today, and every day, may you feel God's love; and may He help you feel our love ~ your Mommy and Daddy's love ~ too.  I believe He can do this.  I believe He IS doing this. Now. Today, on Valentine's Day.  And every day.

May we ALL celebrate the very first gift of love.  A love that was given before we were born, and will last an eternity...................
