ARE YOU PURSUING YOUR GOALS?

WOW!  My husband, Jeff, returned from an annual "Guys Ski Trip" a couple Wednesdays ago, and HE WAS SO AMPED!  His spirit was SOARING when he got home!  Still is!  His passion for skiing ~ and life ~ has been re-fueled.  His need for "guy-bonding," filled.  His soul has been REFRESHED!  Adventure was sought after.......and conquered!

It does my heart SO GOOD to see all of the above overflow from Jeff.  It inspires me, actually.  It encourages me to stop.  And think.  What am I doing to refresh my soul and re-fuel my passions in life?.......................

Which begs me to pose the same question to you, my fellow blog friends!  What are YOU doing to REFUEL your passions and REFRESH your soul?  [I loved some of Jeff's photos of his trip, so I will use them as I "talk" with you about how God has spoken to me through Jeff's refreshment of his soul..........]

What mountains or obstacles keep you from pursuing your goals or dreams?  Are you looking at the foreseen mountain ahead, worrying about the steps of tomorrow?  Such focus can make us lose sight of the steps required TODAY ~ right in front of us!  God wants us to keep our eyes on HIM, not any mountain we may see before us!  He will equip us with what we need to go through, up or around that mountain!  Heck, He may even choose to REMOVE that mountain before we even get there!  IF we take the steps He asks of us TODAY!  He will provide what we need wherever He takes us!........I will even give my angels charge over you, to preserve you in all your ways. (Psalm 91:11).

What  risk is God asking you to take?  What dream is He asking you to rebirth?.......and pursue?   HE plants those desires on our hearts.  He doesn't want fear to keep us from taking that leap of faith!  He wants us to trust that HE is our best security system in life!   He promises.......I am with you wherever you go (Genesis 28:15).

God is always with us.  Speak to Him.  Seek HIM.  Look to the LORD and His strength: seek His face always (Psalm 105:4).  Allow Him to bring light to your heart.  And to your mind.  It is often the dark days in which His light shines brightest.  Allow His strength to shine brightly upon your dream, keeping it ALIVE!  No matter what other circumstances may be going on simultaneously.  Your persistent pursuit of Him WILL result in POWER and LIGHT!

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.  Take that less common path.  Our focus is KEY!  If we stay focused on God, He helps remove our doubt, unbelief and fear.......all three of which are NOT OF GOD!!!!  He helps scramble our worldy views and teaches us how to think like Him.  He will renew our minds...........

Walk by Faith and not by sight...Keep your mind on the journey of today.  Enjoy HIS presence.  Trust that He will find a way where there is no way.  We may not always see the HOW or the WHY or even the WHEN......but we don't need to.......because we can rest in knowing that GOD KNOWS AND SEES IT ALL!

There is such POWER when we believe in God and when we allow Him to help guide our steps as we walk out our dreams.  I am strong in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10).  I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me (Phillipians 4:13).  Luke 1:37.....NOTHING is impossible with God!   What is He guiding you to that seems impossible!  It isn't impossible ~ you just need HIM to accomplish it!

Take time with God.  Sit still in the light of His presence.  Hear His still. small. voice.  Receive His love.  His peace.  Give God time out of your day to help build an intimacy between you and him.  This intimacy will reveal to you who He is ~ a loving, caring, freeing God!  He will transform you in quiet moments such as these.  He will renew your mind.  So all of us who have the veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord.  And the Lord, who is the Spirit, makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into his glorious image (2 Corinthians 3:18).

It's okay to feel weak.  It's okay to even feel scared.  It's what we DO with those feelings that count!  Give these to God and His power will see us through to the other side! My strength and power show most effective in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Trust in the Lord with all your heart.  Lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Provers 3:5-6).

LETTING GO.  As we pursue our dreams, God may ask us to let go of something in our life.  Be it a picture of our family, our job, our health, a dream.  We cannot release things so dear to us, until we know ~ really know ~ His presence in our lives.  Once we learn WHO God is, we learn that His plan for us is GOOD.  ALWAYS.  Then we can consider giving all aspects of our lives to our Loving Father.  I am the same yesterday, today, and forever.  Herein lies our security.  We can open our hands, give it all to God, and hold onto His hand instead.  He never lets go of our hand, no matter how BIG our leap of faith may seem!

My light shines most brightly through those who choose to trust me in the dark times.  Such a trust is supernatural through His Spirit which dwells within us.  When things seem all wrong, surrender to God and He will make our paths straight!  But you are a chosen people....a people belonging to God that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9).

If you are the Son of God....throw yourself down.  He will command His angels concerning you.....so that you will not strike your foot against a stone (Matthew 4:6).  He calls us to lay down our life for Him.  He calls us to seek His guidance in our life and allow Him to show us the way.  Once the way is revealed, whether we see how it will work out or not, He calls us to throw ourselves down.

GO FOR IT ALL!  No reservations.  No looking back.  Just leaping.  Looking up.

Enjoying the ride on the way!
