Hush Little Baby, Don't You Cry......

I read to you tonight, my little one(s). I really did! Out loud even!

Leah is one of my best friends from high school
(YES! we are STILL friends!...isn't that neat!?),
and she gave us two books in honor of
knowing you were coming home someday soon!

THANK YOU, LEAH!
(and Dirk, Ian and Declan too!)

This one is so cute! I was giggling while reading it!
I can't wait to read it with you ~
and to tickle your footsie,
your cute boney knee and your tum-tum!
I'm excited to tickle your toes, your elbows,
your knees and your neck and your nose!

Aahhhhh......the rhyming in the book
and play with words makes is sound so FUN as I read it aloud!

"Hush Little Baby" is such a sweet new version
of the bedtime lullaby!
I sang it/read it aloud to you tonight.

It is a great version that,
instead of a mommy offering to buy
her child all sorts of things,
it encourages children to find comfort
in nature and in mommy's love!

Oh, looking SO forward to the nights we can read this together
and
Mommy and Daddy can tuck you in tight!

Daddy and I can't wait for the hours of cuddly reading we will do with you!

HUSH LITTLE BABY, DON'T YOU CRY,
MOMMA'S GOING TO SING YOU A LULLABY.......

Great idea!! I read to my husband while I wait... and my brother. They might be sick of children's books so I will try this. You are encouraging!

That was so sweet! I'll have to get these books myself. :-)

No, you're not too late to have the fundraiser on the OSAS blog. I just got home and was thinking that I needed to do the updates. Perfect timing!

*Love* this post. It's happening, Debb!! I'm getting more and more excited for you, even while we're in the process of bringing home our little one/ones. I can't wait to see you post about "getting your referral"
God is soo moving!
