HOMEMADE PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE!

Click "Purchase Here" button if you want to shop our fundraiser clothing!.....otherwise, read below for the Pumpkin Spice recipe! {smile}

OH, MY! Do I wish I could recall whose blog I grabbed this from!
If it is YOU, please let me know and I will happily give you
FULL credit!
THANKS for sharing it! I just HAD to pass it on!......

Are any of you lovers of that Pumpkin Spice latte that they bring around this wonderful time of year!?!? I sure am! I even buy the Pumpkin Spice creamer for coffee at home, during this time that it is available! (to help curb the cost of buying a Starbucks every single day!)

Weeellllll.......some sweet blogger friend shared on her blog a waaaayyyy better option than the store bought cream bought in your local grocery store! Check it out! You CAN (and should!) try this at home!

PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE ~ “Just Like Starbucks”

Ingredients:

2 c. milk

2 T. canned pumpkin

2 T. sugar or sugar substitute-adjust to taste

2 t. vanilla extract

1/2 t. pumpkin pie spice

1/2 c. strong brewed coffee (or 1/4 c. espresso)

Directions:

In a saucepan, stir together milk, pumpkin, and sugar. Cook and stir over med. heat until steaming. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and pumpkin pie spice, transfer to blender and process for 15 sec. or until foamy. (The whole blender step can be skipped and just whisked in the pan with no loss in taste).

Pour into a large mug (or more if you decide to share), 1/2 full. Add the coffee or espresso on top. (Or, if you're like me and decide to serve to a large number of people for a special occasion, it can just as easily be doubled or tripled and all be mixed into your crockpot and kept on warm for a few hours). Of course, whipped cream on top with a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon takes it to a whole new level!

ENJOY the Thanksgiving and Christmas Season!......and this homemade recipe! Let me know what you think!

Too funny! I use the same recipe and was going to write a post about it because my friend wanted the recipe, but I never did. Now I don't have to!

I got the recipe from this crockpot website.
